Lancaster General Health Campus Tomotherapy Additions & Renovations

Barton provided mechanical, electrical and plumbing design services for a 2,650 square-foot addition and 5,875 square feet of renovations to the existing building 2102 at the Lancaster General Health Campus. The project included a new tomotherapy vault and associated control and equipment rooms, data server room, and planning room, as well as a new, 3,375 square-foot terrace.
Hanover Healthcare Plus Hanover SurgiCenter Fit-Out
Hanover, PA
Barton completed mechanical, electrical and plumbing design services for a fit-out of approximately 10,000 square feet of shell space to create an ambulatory surgical center for Hanover Healthcare Plus. The surgery center includes three class C operating rooms as well as sterile supply, prep and recovery space and associated office and support space. Barton designed packaged rooftop units with zone hot water reheat control as well as a dedicated emergency generator to serve the SurgiCenter. The tenant also required a vacuum pump and bottled oxygen, nitrogen and nitrous oxide gas systems.
Hillside Medical Center Pain Management and Ambulatory Surgical Center
Hanover, PA
Barton provided mechanical, electrical and plumbing design services for a 10,000 square-foot fit-out for a pain management practice and ambulatory surgical center at the Hillside Medical Center in Hanover, PA. The surgical center includes two Class B operating rooms, recovery areas and support spaces, as well as medical gas and vacuum, nurse call, emergency power and humidity control. The pain management practice includes exam rooms, administrative offices and support spaces. The entire fit-out is served by a VAV system with rooftop air handlers and hot water reheat for temperature zone control.
Lancaster General Health Campus Women’s Breast Center
Lancaster, PA
Barton provided mechanical, electrical and plumbing design services for a 9,000 square-foot relocation project. The scope of the project included relocating the women’s diagnostic center from the Lancaster General Women & Babies Hospital to the Lancaster General Health Campus.
Centre Medical Sciences Center II
State College, PA
Barton provided mechanical, electrical and plumbing design services for the shell and core of a new 3-story, 96,000 square-foot medical office building located in State College, PA. The building includes a water source heat pump system and electrical distribution that will accommodate metering by individual tenants. Upon completion, the building is expected to house an oncology suite, imaging suite, family practice and other medical offices.
Apple Hill Medical Center
Infrastructure Study
York, PA
Barton conducted a study to define options to consolidate campus utilities including chilled water, heating source systems and emergency power generation to serve the Women’s Imaging Center, WellSpan Office Center and a proposed rehabilitation hospital and neuroscience building. Barton also identified probable construction costs and benefits associated with the consolidation of utilities.
