Adam Warriner, PE, LEED AP
Director, Mechanical Engineering
The Pennsylvania State University | Bachelor of Architectural Engineering
What is your favorite project you worked on?
Early in my career, I had the opportunity to help design the Physical Sciences Building, Murray Hall and Venable Hall, for the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. It was my first large lab building project and also a major stepping stone for me to start working independently on the HVAC design for projects.
Who inspired you to become an engineer?
I was always interested in math and science growing up. My Uncle Dave then told me about the Architectural Engineering program at the Pennsylvania State University and I was convinced that was where I wanted to go.
Do you belong to any clubs/organizations?
I’m a licensed Professional Engineer in Pennsylvania and North Carolina as well as a LEED Accredited Professional with the U.S. Green Building Council and a member of the American Society of Heating, Refrigeration and Air-Conditioning Engineers.
Do you have any favorite hobbies?
I enjoy fishing especially fly fishing. Another hobby I enjoy is brewing my own beer.
