Hampden Township Municipal Building Improves Connection with Local Community
Barton Associates provided MEP engineering and construction services for a new, 29,000 square-foot single-story Hampden Township Municipal Building.
Municipal functions include public meeting rooms, various department offices, and records storage. Police department functions include secured access, detainee processing, evidence processing and storage, administrative offices, training rooms and locker rooms.
Mechanical systems included a full sprinkler system, high efficiency water heating system, low-flow plumbing fixtures, high-efficiency hot water heating and chiller water cooling systems and variable air volume air distribution.
Electrical systems included high efficiency LED lighting fixtures with occupancy and daylight controls systems, emergency stand-by power systems, technology and audio-visual infrastructure, secured access, monitoring and fire detection and alarm.
