Hybrid Cath Lab and Operating Room Add Flexibility at St. Joseph Medical Center
Barton Healthcare provided MEP design and construction services for the construction of a new hybrid cath lab room, control room, equipment room, and staff support areas at Penn State Health’s St. Joseph Medical Center.
The hybrid cath lab includes a floor mounted c-arm, ceiling mounted light and equipment booms, an integrated operating room ceiling, and isolated power panels.
The room was designed to function primarily as a cath lab with the ability to be used an operating room if patient need’s require surgery.
