Field Hockey Stadium at Penn State to be Upgraded
Barton Education is providing MEP design services for the 23,400 sq ft. field hockey stadium at Penn State.
The stadium consists of a minimum of 1500 seats with new concessions, restrooms, meeting spaces, and locker rooms for home and visiting teams at the main concourse. An elevated press box and viewing areas including two exterior patios will be structured over the seating to allow approximately 40% covered seating.
MEP systems include a variable refrigerant flow (VRF) system for heating and cooling, LED lighting with digitally networked controls, energy recovery and monitoring, and power/telecom support for television broadcasting.
