275,000 sq. ft. | $111 million | August 2019
Barton Healthcare provided mechanical, electrical, plumbing and fire protection engineering services for a new, five-story, 275,000 square-foot replacement hospital for UPMC Pinnacle’s Memorial Hospital in York, PA. The new 130-bed hospital was built on the former Hawk Lake Golf Course in West Manchester Township. The project constructed a new state-of-the-art healthcare facility complete with Emergency, Surgical, Women and Babies, Radiology, Cardiac Catherization and general Inpatient Care services for the surrounding community of York.
Barton Healthcare’s design of the engineered building systems for the new facility is focused on improving the health, safety and comfort of all patients, employees and community members who will be served by this hospital. We are proud to collaborate with UPMC Pinnacle, Stantec, Quandel Construction Group and Dawood Engineering for the design of this important new facility.
