Tell me something interesting about you.
I play multiple right-handed string instruments left-handed, or upside-down. Well-known musicians such as Paul McCartney and Jimi Hendrix also played guitar left-handed.

If you could design any building?
A net-zero energy hospital.

What technologies interest you the most?
Power distribution, generation and transfer equipment, and lighting controls.

What advice would you give an engineering student?
Take the EIT (or PE) exam while still in college, and make an effort to get as many internships or co-operative learning experiences as you can prior to graduation.

What’s your favorite thing about working at Barton?
The collaborative work environment. The ability to have both professional and personal relationships with my colleagues.

Do you have any favorite hobbies?
I enjoy playing music, cooking, outdoor activities, sports, brewing beer, home improvement projects.
