About Cole
Cole joined Barton in 2019 and since has served as a mechanical designer at our York Office. He attended the Pennsylvania College of Technology, earning a Bachelor of Science in Engineering Design Technology and an Associate degree in CAD Technology.
When asked what he likes most about the ESOP, Cole states “Being part of an ESOP gives everyone a sense of ownership in the company, leading to better team collaboration for continued company success.”
Tell us a little bit about your life at home.
I share a home with my girlfriend Kiley and our three cats in Etters, PA. When not at home, we are often kayaking and jet skiing on the river or at the beach spending time with friends and family.

Where did you go to college?
Pennsylvania College of Technology in Williamsport, PA.
What was your first job in engineering like?
I interned with Kinsley Construction drafting existing conditions for all MEP disciplines.
How long have you been with Barton?
5 years in February.
How does the ESOP impact you the most?
Being a part of an ESOP gives me a greater stake in the success of my financial future.
If I wasn’t a Mechanical Designer, I’d be?
A locomotive engineer, a landlord, or a deep-sea fisherman.
