About Lori
Lori joined Barton in 2001 and since has served as an Administrative Assistant/Construction Services at our York office. She earned an Associate in Science, Computer Technology from the York County School of Technology.
When asked how does the ESOP impact you the most, she states, “Being an ESOP company allows me to see an even brighter retirement future”.
Tell us a little about your family/home life.
My husband, Jeff and I of almost 21 years have a beautiful 18 year old daughter that is attending Penn State Main Campus as a freshman. In addition we have 5 adopted furbabies (cats) in which 2 are from Cairo, Egypt. It’s difficult keeping their names straight all the time……
What was the first job you got paid to do?
Hostess at Manchester Family Restaurant.
What do you love most about your job?
The versatility of everyday tasks, from processing shop drawings, to stocking the kitchen, and yes, even doing archiving….
If I wasn’t an Administrative Assistant/Construction Services, I’d be?
Working in a bakery.
What’s your favorite sport (professional, college, or other)?
Penn State College Football.
I’m seldom without?
Being with my furbabies (cats).
Favorite pizza topping?
Black olives.
When I’m not at work I’m doing……
Spending time with my furbabies, rebate shopping or baking.
What’s on your “stranded on a desert island” playlist?
Songs from the 80’s.
What’s your hidden talent?
Wiggle my nose like a bunny.
What’s on your bucket list?
To go on more cruises with my family.
