About Mary
Mary joined Barton in 2021 as an Mechanical Designer at our Pittsburgh office. She attended The Pennsylvania State University where she earned her Bachelor of Architectural Engineering with an emphasize in Mechanical Engineering and a Master in Architectural Engineering.
When asked what do you like most about the ESOP , she states, “Being a part of an ESOP makes me feel like I am not just another employee, but that I am a member of a community”.
Tell us a little about your family/home life.
My immediate family is my parents and my two sisters, but I have a large extended family which always makes holidays fun and loud.
What was the first job you got a physical paycheck?
I worked as a waitress at Bob Evans.
What do you love most about your job?
I love that I get to spend the day problem solving and am always learning something new about the built environment.
If I wasn’t an Designer, I’d be?
A Math Teacher.
What’s your favorite sport (professional, college, or other)?
Penn State College Football.

Snacks.
When I’m not at work I’m doing……
I’m probably climbing with friends.

What’s your hidden talent?
I can impersonate Marvin the Martian from Looney Tunes.

To visit the pyramids in Egypt.
