About Melissa
Melissa has been part of our Administrative team for over 9 years! She currently serves as an Administrative Assistant/Construction Services at our State College office.

Tell us a little about your family/home life.
My husband Jeremy and I recently celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary. We have 2 daughters, Harlee & Shelby, and 2 granddaughters, Avery & Adalee. We also have 2 cats who rule the house!

Since January 2014!
What does being part of an ESOP mean to you?
Being part of an ESOP means I have a direct impact on our company’s future which, in turn, has a direct impact on my future.
What do you love most about your job?
My co-workers!
What’s your favorite sport (professional, college, or other)?
Football. Professional or college, my favorite teams are the Pittsburgh Steelers and Penn State Nittany Lions.

My cell phone.
When I’m not at work I’m doing……
If I’m not with my daughters or granddaughters I’m usually gardening in my ‘stand-up’ garden beds, going on side-by-side rides, or reading.
Favorite pizza topping?
Mushrooms.
What’s your hidden talent?
Is wine-making considered a talent?
What’s the one movie you can watch over and over again?
The Wizard of Oz…my all-time favorite movie! Or anything with Bruce Willis in it!
What’s on your bucket list?
I’d love to go to the Australian Outback someday.
When I go to a cookout I hope there’s __ to eat.

Best book you’ve ever read?
I’m a big Stephen King fan! The book IT is way better than the movie!
What’s the best piece of advice that you’ve ever been given?
Hope for the best, prepare for the worst, and expect the unexpected. Cliché, I know.
