About Ulices
Ulices joined Barton in 2022 as an Marketing Specialist at our York Office. Ulices earned his Bachelor of Arts in Integrated Marketing Communications from York College of Pennsylvania.
When asking Ulices what do you most like about the ESOP, he states, “The thing that I like most about the ESOP is the unique community of employee-owner’s. It creates for a special atmosphere at work where everyone is working towards the same goal.”
Tell us a little bit about your life at home.
My family consists of 6 family members. My parents, uncle, older sister, younger brother and me.
What was the first job you got a physical paycheck?
I worked at a local pizza shop called the New Alfredo’s Pizza II & Ristorante. I use to run the grill and help prep for the week.
What do you love most about your job?
The thing that I love the most about my job is the flexibility of being able to work remotely. It is great to be able to have the option to work from home when needed but also be able to work in the office.
If I wasn’t an Marketer, I’d be?
If I wasn’t a marketer I would be working for a non-profit organization.
What’s your favorite sport (professional, college, or other)?
My favorite sport by far is soccer. I’m also a huge fan of the UFC.
When I’m not at work I’m doing……
Spending time with family and friends. I often go on runs, play soccer and as of recently, I’ve been going on hikes.
Favorite pizza topping?
Pepperoni.
What’s the one movie you can watch over and over again?
Monsters, Inc.
What’s on your bucket list?
I’d love to travel to England and visit their soccer stadiums.
What’s on your “stranded on a desert island” playlist?
Any Bob Marley.
