Duties & Responsibilities
Barton Associates is looking to hire a highly skilled and experienced Client/Project Manager to join our team. This position is expected to:
- Develop and work with clients to identify, quantify, and complete projects. Build and maintain strong client relationships to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.
- Manage client expectations and deliverables, ensuring that all project requirements are met and communicated effectively.
- Oversee projects through the company’s enterprise system, ensuring all phases are completed on time and within budget.
- Coordinate and manage resources to provide quality engineering services and documents. Ensure that projects are delivered within budget and schedule constraints.
- Exhibit solid management, business development, and communication skills with all project stakeholders, including clients, team members, and external partners.
- Ensure that all engineering services and documents meet the highest quality standards and comply with industry regulations and client specifications.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Qualified client/project manager candidates should:
- Possess an accredited Electrical or Architectural Engineering degree and an active Professional Engineering (PE) license (Preferred).
- Have a minimum of 8 years of experience in project management, with a strong focus on MEP engineering projects.
- Demonstrate advanced skills in managing engineering projects, including planning, execution, and delivery. Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy and precision in all project documentation and communication.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex project challenges and develop effective solutions.
- Experience with healthcare and/or educational clients and projects in a consulting engineering environment is highly desirable.
