Duties & Responsibilities
Barton Associates is looking to hire a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team. This position is expected to:
- Design and development of electrical systems for various projects, including healthcare, education, senior living facilities, and multi-family and mixed-use complexes.
- Utilize your expertise to create efficient, reliable, and sustainable electrical solutions.
- Work closely with architects, mechanical engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless and integrated project delivery. Your role will be crucial in fostering a collaborative and productive team environment.
- Conduct comprehensive site inspections and provide expert technical support throughout construction. Your seasoned insights will ensure projects are executed flawlessly and meet all safety standards.
- Prepare and review detailed technical drawings, specifications, and reports to ensure the highest quality standards. Your meticulous attention to detail will be pivotal in maintaining our reputation for excellence.
- Ensure all designs meet local, state, and federal electrical codes and standards. Your deep understanding of regulatory requirements will safeguard project compliance and quality.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Qualified electrical engineer candidates should:
- Possess an accredited Electrical or Architectural Engineering degree and an active Professional Engineering (PE) license (Preferred).
- 5+ years of experience in the MEP industry, with a proven track record of successful project delivery.
- Proficiency in electrical design software such as AutoCAD and Revit. Advanced knowledge of other industry-standard tools and technologies is a plus.
