Duties & Responsibilities
Barton Associates is looking to hire a Plumbing Designer at any of our office locations. This position is expected to:
- Work with engineers to determine design criteria, drawing sequence, system design presentation, sizing of system components, equipment selection and system layouts for plumbing systems generally consisting of domestic water, sanitary and vent, storm water, medical gas and vacuum, and natural/propane gas, as well as fire protection systems.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Qualified plumbing designer candidates should:
- Possess a 2-year Mechanical Engineering Technology Associates Degree or an accredited Engineering or Architectural Engineering degree with a minimum of 5-7 years of work experience in plumbing system design.
- Experience with healthcare and/or educational projects in a consulting engineering environment is a plus.
- Have advanced experience working with AutoCAD and REVIT.
