Ed and Scott’s presentation, “Industrial Goes Back to School — Commissioning Two Industrial Buildings Converted to College Use” will occur on April 12, 2017 at 8:00 AM in the Lancaster County Convention Center.
Overview
The presentation outlines the commissioning findings for the HVAC systems installed in two existing commercial and industrial buildings renovated to administrative and educational use by the Pennsylvania College of Health Sciences. A myriad of deficiencies were identified and corrected, to include: failed fire dampers; poor boiler reset schedules; failed variable speed DX air conditioning compressors; improperly operating exhaust fans, outside air dampers, and economizers; and improperly located zone temperature sensors.
The presentation is AIA accredited for 1 LU/HSW credit.
