Michael Jacobs, PE, LEED AP has been hired as a Senior Client Manager to work in our York office. With a career spanning over 14 years in Senior Engineering and Project Management, Jacobs brings an extensive list of experience in design, planning and management of healthcare, laboratory and higher education projects to Barton Associates.
Jacobs is a graduate of Penn State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Master of Science degree in Architectural Engineering. He is a registered Professional Engineer in Pennsylvania, Georgia, Maryland, North Carolina and Virginia as well as a LEED Accredited Professional (LEED AP).
In his new role, Jacobs is part of the team responsible for identifying and securing work through new and existing clients while continuing to support and promote project growth and sales. He will work closely with our Business Unit Leaders and Marketing Sector Vice Presidents.

Prior to joining Barton Associates, Jacobs was Senior Engineering Manager/Mechanical Department Head and Healthcare Project Manager in Harrisburg, PA and Senior Mechanical Engineer in Durham, NC. Some of his notable clients include Pinnacle Health, Lancaster General Hospital, Mount Nittany Medical Center, UNC Hospitals and Duke University Medical Hospital.
