We are excited to announce that Michael F. Duffy, PE, has joined Barton as a Mechanical Engineer at our York office!
“With his extensive experience and collaborative approach, Michael will play an important role in continuing to deliver high-quality, efficient engineering solutions to our clients,” said Jonathan B. Slagel, PE, LEED AP, Vice President.
Michael earned a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from York College of Pennsylvania and earned his Professional Engineer License for Pennsylvania in 2023. Michael is an active member of the ASHRAE Central Pennsylvania Chapter and remains engaged with industry best practices and emerging technologies in building systems design.
In his role as a Mechanical Engineer, Michael will be responsible for performing system selection including design calculations and layouts; equipment research, selection and specification; and research of code requirements. He will also assist with the preparation of studies, reports, specifications and opinions of probable construction costs for projects.
