Ethan joined Barton in 2026 as a Senior Electrical Designer supporting our Raleigh office. He earned a Bachelor of Architectural Engineering focused on Electrical Engineering from North Carolina A&T.
When asked what being part of an ESOP means to him, Ethan stated, “Means being part of a team rather than working for a team,”
Tell us a little about your family/home life.
Currently live in Cary, NC with my Fiancé, sister-in-law, and best friend from college.
What’s your hometown?
Fredericksburg, VA.
What was your first job in engineering like?
My first job in Engineering was pretty fast paced and challenging but rewarding as well. I learned a lot in that time.
What was the first job you got a physical paycheck?
An ice cream shop call Moo Thru.
What do you like most about the ESOP?
The added interest of the employees.
If I wasn’t an electrical designer, I’d be?
A Politician.
What’s your favorite sport?
Football.
