About Jacob
Jacob first joined Barton in 2024 as an intern at our York office. After graduating in the summer of 2025, Jacob accepted a full-time role with Barton as a BIM/CADD Technician. Jacob attended Thaddeus Stevens College of Technology where he earned an associate’s degree in applied science – Architectural Technology.
When asked how the ESOP impacts him the most, Jacob stated, “It makes me want to work harder, as I am working for myself and my fellow coworkers.”

Great, I just started.
What was the first job you got a physical paycheck?
Golf Cart Attendant.
How long have you been with Barton?
Almost 2 years counting my internship.
What does being part of an ESOP mean to you?
It means that we are all essentially working for ourselves, which makes me feel great about my work.
What do you like most about the ESOP?
The ESOP events, as well as what I mentioned in the above answer.
What do you love most about your job?
The variety of projects I get to work on.
If I wasn’t a BIM/CADD Technician, I’d be?
Amtrak Engineer.

Formula One.

Collecting vinyl records, mountain biking, exploring cities, or cooking.

I am extremely good at navigation.
