Tell us a little about your family/home life.
I’m the youngest of 4 siblings, two sisters and a brother. My Dad is a hard-working roofer and has been in the roofing industry for nearly as long as he’s been happily married to my mom for nearly 50 years now. My Mom has a sweet soul and will always find a way to fill a moment with joy whenever applicable. She will often be seen working in the garden in our backyard that we receive a large number of fruits and vegetables from each year.
What’s your hometown?
East Berlin, PA.
What Inspired you to pursue your career?
From the age of 2 I was enthusiastic with videogame consoles and computers. I played a lot of PC logic games and Donkey Kong Country in the early 2000s and then eventually delved into Minecraft and learned the Windows structure more deeply when I got into mods and for that game and many others. When I got into the workforce, I decided to go to a tech school to get a better all-around grasp of the tech industry so I could apply my investments into a return.
What was the first job you got a physical paycheck?
I used to work Merchandiser for my local town and deliver the paper every Tuesday morning. I would pack advertisements into the paper, then slip it into plastic wraps. Then, my mom would help me drive around town to deliver to the various streets that I would walk down since we would fill the trunk with papers. It didn’t pay much, but I was able to afford a few different nice things and buy my PS4 and tablet with the money I earned.
If I wasn’t an IT Support Specialist, I’d be?
If I wasn’t into IT, I would probably go into a system adjacent field that pays well and keeps me on my feet. Like HVAC/Electrical Technician. What can I say, apart I like being around electrical systems ha-ha.
What do you love most about your job?
I love being able to help people with their tech issues and building a strong foundation for mutual trust in the company, both for professional and personal reasons. Real connections are one of the biggest benefits to working within the company. Also understanding how to work on really expensive computer equipment and knowing what I’m doing is a pretty cool perk.
What’s your favorite sport (professional, college, or other)?
Muay Thai and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. I’m currently involved in both sports, and I go to training every Tuesday and Thursday night after work.
When I’m not at work I’m doing……
During my leisure time, I spend my time on multiple hobbies that I bounce back and forth on. 3D Printing, Painting Miniatures, Reading, Camping, and Videogames are all hobbies that I enjoy and have invested much time and resources into.
What’s on your bucket list?
- Skydiving
- Fly a Plane
- Catch a shark on a fishing trip
- Go diving in a coral reef
- Hike the Appalachian Trail
I probably have more written down somewhere, but those are all the ones that come immediately to my head.
What is one accomplishment in life for which you are particularly proud?
I graduated from Boy Scouts of America with the rank of Eagle Scout.
What is your go-to comfort food?
Anything with cheese in it made by another human.
What is your go to podcast or music to listen to while working?
I like listening to Dreamcore, Synthwave, Numetal, and various other genres. The only genres I hate is all rap, and modern country.
What is the most embarrassing song on your playlist?
I’m not embarrassed of my music taste. So, no song fits this ha-ha.
