Tell us a little about your family/home life.
I’m a proud wife to my husband T.J. and mother of two amazing kids, and I love embracing life to the fullest. My main priority in life is spending quality time with my family and creating unforgettable memories with them. Some of our favorite things to do include traveling and cruising to new destinations, relaxing on beautiful beaches, scuba diving, going to the shooting range, and exploring the outdoors. Cooking and baking are some of my favorite hobbies, allowing me to get creative in the kitchen. Whether it’s watching movies or taking on an adventurous skydiving jump, I’m always seek new thrills to keep life exciting.
What do you like most about the ESOP?
Everyone is working toward the same goals because we all benefit from the company’s growth. Plus, it’s rewarding to know that my long-term financial future is being supported through the value we’re building together.
What do you love most about your job?
I love my job because the people I work with feel like family. We have each other’s backs, both professionally and personally, and that relationship makes all the difference. It’s rare to find a work environment where everyone genuinely cares about one another and management is approachable. Knowing I’m a part of a team that I can rely on makes coming to work something I look forward to every day.
I’m seldom without?
My family. We try to do everything together. From fun activities to house projects, it’s rare not to see the 4 of us together.
What’s on your bucket list?
My bucket list is pretty long, and things get added quicker than they come off, although I try to check off a few every year. Most of my bucket list is travel related, as it is a huge part of my life. Some of the big ones still on my list include: Take a helicopter ride over a volcano, ride in a hot air balloon over Napa Valley, visit 100 countries (Currently at over 40!) and all 7 continents, run a marathon, see the Northern Lights, and stay in an overwater bungalow in the Maldives.
What’s your favorite holiday and why?
My favorite holiday is Halloween. My husband and I (with the help of friends and family!) turn our entire yard into a free Halloween attraction for the community that thousands of people have enjoyed over the years. I love seeing everyone’s creativity with their costumes, and the pure joy (and fear!) on their faces as they walk through our setup. Every year we have a larger turnout, and give away hundreds of hot dogs, snacks, drinks, and of course hundreds of pounds of candy!
What’s the best piece of advice that you’ve ever been given?
It’s hard to narrow it down to one piece of advice. One of my favorites is “The grass isn’t greener on the other side, it’s greenest where you water it.”. The “Let Them Theory” by Mel Robbins is also great to live by.
