We are pleased to announce that Edward Ritter, PE, CxA has achieved LEED AP (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Accredited Professional) BD+C accreditation. Administered by the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC), the LEED AP BD+C credential denotes professionals with expertise in the design and construction phases of green buildings serving the commercial, residential, education and healthcare sectors, with practical knowledge in LEED for New Construction, LEED for Schools and LEED for Core and Shell rating systems.
Ed serves as the Commissioning Manager for Barton and has over 38 years of experience. He earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemical Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University and is a Registered Professional Engineer in Pennsylvania, Maryland and Delaware. Ed is also a Certified Commissioning Authority from the AABC Commissioning Group. During his nine years with Barton, Ed has provided project management and commissioning services for a variety of projects types including education, healthcare, commercial, and industrial.
