Barton Associates is proud to announce and welcome Jennifer Harrington, PE, LC, LEED AP as the new Director of Lighting Design
Jennifer brings over 13 years of experience creating aesthetically pleasing, highly functional and energy efficient architectural lighting designs for buildings. She graduated from Penn State University with a Bachelor of Architectural Engineering specializing in lighting and electrical design. She serves on the Board of Directors for the Alumni Society of Architectural Engineering (ASAE) and is a member of the Illuminating Engineering Society (IES).
Jennifer has presented lighting topics at multiple national and state LeadingAge Conferences. She has written numerous articles on current issues in the lighting industry. Her lighting design for the lobby and exterior entrance renovation at Edenwald Towers won the Associates Builders and Contractors (ABC) Excellence in Construction Award of Merit.
Jennifer will be responsible for overseeing the development and production of architectural lighting designs in all of Barton’s locations and markets. “Jennifer’s wealth of experience and industry knowledge makes her a key addition to the Barton family,” said Michael Rader, PE, who serves as the firm’s COO.
