Jefferson Washington Township Hospital Patient Floor Renovated

Barton Healthcare provided mechanical, electrical and plumbing design services to renovate approximately 9,700 square feet of existing patient care space to construct a new 12-bed intermediate care patient unit and associated support spaces for Jefferson Washington Township Hospital. 

The project included upgrades to the HVAC system to provide functionality to operate all 12 patient rooms as negative pressure airborne infectious isolation rooms.  Dialysis boxes were provided in all patient rooms to allow for in-room treatments. 

Additionally, patient rooms were designed with integrated controls to provide access for patients to control room lighting and exterior window shades through the nurse call pillow speaker system.
