New Outpatient Center Provides Convenient Outpatient Care
Barton Healthcare provided mechanical, electrical, and plumbing engineering services for a 10,000 square-foot tenant fit-out for a new outpatient ambulatory surgery center focused on heart and vascular procedures for ReVaMP in Philadelphia, PA.
The suite is in a mixed-use building with a functioning grocery store below the space and occupied residential apartments on the floors above. The surgery center includes a waiting room, reception, eight prep/recovery bays, conference room, staff support spaces, a cath lab, and a shell space for a future cath lab.
Barton’s design included extension of the existing plumbing systems, sprinkler system, and normal power system to serve the fit-out. New medical gas, HVAC, and emergency power systems were designed to serve the surgery center. These systems include a dedicated rooftop air handling unit and emergency generator.
