New Spring Garden Township Municipal Building Serves Local Government and Community
Barton Associates provided MEP engineering and construction services for a new, 23,000 square-foot single-story Spring Garden Township Municipal Building.
Municipal functions include public meeting rooms, various department offices, and records storage. Police department functions include secured access, detainee processing, evidence processing and storage, administrative offices, training rooms and locker rooms.
Mechanical systems included a full sprinkler system, high efficiency water heating system, low-flow plumbing fixtures, high-efficiency hot water heating and chilled water-cooling systems and variable air volume air distribution.
Electrical systems included high efficiency LED lighting fixtures with occupancy and daylight controls systems, emergency stand-by power systems, technology and audio-visual infrastructure, secured access, monitoring and fire detection and alarm.
