UPMC Pinnacle has selected Barton Healthcare to be provide mechanical, electrical, plumbing and fire protection engineering services for a new, five-story, 275,000 square-foot replacement hospital for Memorial Hospital in York, PA. The new 130-bed hospital is being built on the former Hawk Lake Golf Course in West Manchester Township. The project will construct a new state-of-the-art healthcare facility complete with Emergency, Surgical, Women and Babies, Radiology, Cardiac Catherization and general Inpatient Care services for the surrounding community of York.
Barton Healthcare’s design of the engineered building systems for the new facility is focused on improving the health, safety and comfort of all patients, employees and community members who will be served by this hospital.
The new Memorial Hospital is slated to open in 2019. We are proud to collaborate with UPMC Pinnacle, Stantec and Dawood Engineering for the design of this important new facility.
