We are excited to announce that Connor D. Smith, PE, has joined Barton as a Mechanical Engineer at our York office!

Connor earned an Integrated Bachelor/Master of Architectural Engineering from Penn State University, specializing in mechanical engineering. He obtained his Pennsylvania Professional Engineering License in 2024. His professional experience centers on mechanical systems design for healthcare facilities, including medical office buildings and hospitals, encompassing both new construction and renovation projects.
In his role as a Mechanical Engineer, Connor will be responsible for performing system selection including design calculations and layouts; equipment research, selection and specification; and research of code requirements. He will also assist with the preparation of studies, reports, specifications and opinions of probable construction costs for projects.
