We are excited to announce that Declan J. Smythe has joined Barton as an Electrical Designer at our Philadelphia office!

Declan is a recent graduate of Drexel University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering Technology. He is preparing to take his Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) Exam in 2027 as he continues to grow and develop his engineering career.
In his role as an Electrical Designer, Delcan will support the design and development of electrical systems through design calculations, system layouts, equipment research and selection, specifications, and code research. He will also assist with the preparation of studies, reports, specifications, and opinions of probable construction cost.
