Barton Associates Expands Architectural Lighting Team With Basom and Rosenberger

We are excited to announce the addition of Benjamin D. Basom, PE, LC, and David C. Rosenberger, PE, LC, to its architectural lighting team. Joining the firm as Senior Architectural Lighting Designers, Ben and Dave bring decades of combined experience, technical excellence, and a shared commitment to innovative lighting design.

About Benjamin

Benjamin D. Basom, PE, LC, is a graduate of Pennsylvania State University, where he earned a Master of Architectural Engineering with a focus on Lighting and Electrical systems. He is a registered Professional Engineer in Pennsylvania, Lighting Certified through the NCQLP is National Council on Qualifications for Lighting Professions (NCQLP), and a member of the Illuminating Engineering Society (IES).

With more than 24 years of experience, Ben has led and contributed to projects across a diverse range of market sectors, including healthcare, higher education, streetscapes, and sports facilities. He will be based out of Barton’s York office, supporting the firm’s continued growth and technical leadership.

About David

David C. Rosenberger, PE, LC, also holds a Master of Architectural Engineering from Pennsylvania State University, with a concentration in Lighting and Electrical systems. He is a registered Professional Engineer in Pennsylvania, Lighting Certified through NCQLP, and an active member of the Illuminating Engineering Society.

Dave brings more than 19 years of experience in all aspects of lighting design and is known for his deep passion for the industry. He will be based out of Barton’s State College office, contributing to the firm’s collaborative, design-driven approach.
