We are excited to announce that Barton’s Logan E. Keen has recently transitioned into a full-time employee after graduation.

Logan has embraced every opportunity to learn and grow, and we are excited to welcome him as a Mechanical Designer and support his continued development at Barton,” said Nathan P. Birkedal, PE, Director of Operations, Raleigh.
Logan has been with Barton since 2024, serving as a mechanical intern at our Raleigh office. After successfully completing his internship and earning a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from North Carolina State University, he accepted a full-time position with Barton.
As a Mechanical Designer, Logan is responsible for performing design calculations and layouts, equipment selection, researching and preparing specifications, and ensuring compliance with applicable codes and standards.
