Lincoln Middle School Receives Two Green Globe Rating

Barton Education provided MEP design services for renovations and additions to upgrade the aging, 1962, Lincoln Middle School for the School District of Lancaster.

The project included replacement of all mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems including, wet-pipe sprinkler fire protection, water-saving fixtures, high-efficiency water heaters, high-efficiency boilers, air-cooled chillers, piping distribution serving variable-air-volume air handling units, LED lighting, normal and emergency power distribution, telecommunications systems, and access control/surveillance security systems. Six (6) telecom closets house the building’s IDF racks along with door access control panels.

The school received Two Green Globe Rating from the Green Building Initiative.
