Linear Accelerator Upgraded at St. Joseph Medical Center
Barton Healthcare provided MEP design and construction services for the addition of a new linear accelerator room at the Penn State Health St. Joseph Medical Center.
The project includes the coordination with Varian for the linear accelerator equipment and Veritas for the vault shielding system.
A new air handling unit will be designed for the new linear accelerator room and upgrades to the existing air handling unit which serves the adjacent vault will be completed.
The existing pre-action fire sprinkler system will be extended to serve the new vault.
