Schreiber Center for Pediatric Development Expansion Provides Much-Needed Space
Barton provided MEP engineering design services for a 27,150 square-foot renovation and addition to the Schreiber Center for Pediatric Development in Lancaster, PA. The three-story addition will provide much-needed space for more staff with a goal to have shorter wait times.
Plumbing system design included new fixtures, domestic cold and hot water distribution systems, domestic hot water generation, sanitary waste and vent systems. HVAC system design includes variable air volume air handling units with direct expansion cooling and hot water heating and hydronic control reheat units, packaged rooftop units and a building management system.
