Building Systems Upgraded at Sporting Hill Elementary School
Barton Education provided prime MEP design and construction services for replacement of the existing HVAC systems, lighting, and various building envelope maintenance items for the 86,000 square-foot Sporting Hill Elementary School in Cumberland Valley School District.
Plumbing upgrades included replacement high-efficiency water heaters and automatic flush valves/faucets in the public restrooms.
Mechanical replacement systems included high efficiency hot water boilers, air-cooled chillers, replacement of unit ventilators with variable air volume systems and energy recovery units and active de-humidification controls.
Electrical upgrades included LED lighting fixtures and automatic lighting controls.
