Historic Hotel Renovated To Provide Modern Apartments For Community
Barton provided mechanical, electrical, plumbing and fire protection engineering services for the renovation of a 1883 hotel that has been transformed into modern apartment unites after sitting empty for over 20 years. The T. B. Fitzgerald is a five-story complex with 22 units located in Danville, VA.
Apartment unites come fit out with full HVAC, smart dishwashers, ranges, refrigerators and modern lighting.
Barton worked with the Virginia Department of Historic Resources and the National Park Service to integrate historical elements of the building into this modern design.
