We are excited to announce that Sarah K. Halstead, EIT, has joined Barton as a Mechanical Designer at our State College office!

Sarah earned an integrated Bachelor/Master of Architectural Engineering (ABET-accredited), with a mechanical engineering focus, from The Pennsylvania State University. She brings expertise in energy modeling, decarbonization strategies, and sustainable system design, with a proven ability to optimize building performance through advanced analysis, electrification planning, and renewable energy integration.
In her role as a Mechanical Designer, Sarah will be responsible for performing design calculations and layouts, computer selections, research and specifications for equipment and research of code requirements.
