Meet Barton Associates, Inc. Talented 2022 Interns

We are pleased and happy to introduce and welcome Barton Associates’ interns Elizabeth Hargrove, Brendon Little, Adelaide Pearce, Sarah Kane, and Vincent Viola to the team! Our internship program is designed to give students the most real-world experience possible which may include project surveys, project specific design tasks, attending project meetings, building information modeling, and participating in shop drawing reviews and job-site inspections.

Elizabeth Hargrove
Elizabeth is at our State College office as an Electrical Intern. She is a junior at Messiah University, pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering. As part of Messiah’s Collaboratory, she is working on detecting the gait cycle for Stance Control Orthotic.

Brendon Little
Brendon is a Mechanical Intern working in the York office. He is his fourth-year student at Penn State University studying Architectural Engineering with a focus on Mechanical Engineering. Brendon serves as an active member of the Penn State Club Track and Field team and also participates in the student chapter of ASHRAE on campus.

Adelaide Pearce
Adelaide is a Mechanical Intern working out of the York office. She is a student at Penn State University, pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering. She currently serves as Vice President of the ASME Penn State Harrisburg Club and participates in the Graham Fellows Program for Entrepreneurial Leadership at Penn State York.

Sarah Kane
Sarah is an Electrical Lighting Design Intern at our State College office. Sarah attends Penn State University, pursuing a Bachelor of Architectural Engineering with a focus in Lighting Design. Along with that she’s also minoring in Engineering Leadership Development.

Vincent Viola
Vincent is a Mechanical Intern at our State College office. Vincent is a junior at Penn State University, pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering. Last semester, he built a scientific children’s exhibit for Discovery Space with a small design team.
