Nicole L. Esselstyn, EIT joins Barton Associates Inc.

We are excited to announce that Barton’s Nicole L. Esselstyn has recently transitioned into a full-time employee after finishing her internship with Barton.

Nicole had interned with Barton for the past couple of months serving as a mechanical intern at both our State College and Pittsburgh offices. After successfully completing her internship and earning both her Bachelor of Architectural Engineering and Master’s in Architectural Engineering from The Pennsylvania State University, she has accepted a full-time role with Barton. Nicole recently earned her Engineering-In-Training Certificate from the State Registration Board for Professional Engineers, Land Surveyors and Geologists.

“Nicole demonstrated excellent mechanical design skills during her internship with us last summer, and we could not be happier that she joined us for a full-time position following her graduation!  It is great seeing our internship program continue to produce quality full-time hires to aid in achieving growth for our firm.” said Larry R. Zdinak Jr., PE, Director of Operations, Pittsburgh.

In her role as a Mechanical Designer, Nicole will be responsible for performing design calculations and layouts, computer selections, research and specifications for equipment and research of code requirements. She will continue to serve in our Pittsburgh Office.
