Baltimore Health System (BMS) opens a new community health center Yard 56
Barton provided MEP engineering design services for the 46,000 square-foot fit-out for a new Baltimore Medical System (BMS) medical office at Yard 56 in Baltimore, MD.
The new 3-floor building houses administrative offices, new health center and retail pharmacy. The medical office includes the following primary care services: OB/GYN, Pediatric Care, Family Care, Internal Medicine, Behavioral Health, Dental Services, On-Site Pharmacy, Same Day Appointments, and Interpretation Services.
The new community health center features 54 care rooms and will serve as an integrated Patient-Centered Medical Home to approximately 20,000 new patients in East Baltimore in need of access to high-quality medical care.
